"John woke up. It was 5 o'clock and his alarm clock was ringing. He turned it off. He got out of bed and went to the window. The birds were singing and the sun was shining. It was already hot. John saw his father who was getting into his car. John yelled "good-bye" to his father and his dad left.
When John entered the kitchen he said "good-morning" to his mother who was preparing breakfast. She was happy so she was singing a song. His mother put a bottle of milk on the table and opened the box of cereal. John helped his mother set the table and he sat at his steat. John was sad that this was his last day of freedom before going to juvie.  "
